BYD Sealion 6 Loading YouTube, Netflix and other Android Apps on Entertainment Screen

The below information is related to my YouTube video on sideloading apps onto the BYD Sealion 6. It includes links to firmware files and APK apps tested for use. All information is provided at your OWN RISK. Please consider supporting the effort by donating or purchasing a sticker.

Files needed for Sideloading

• files.zip (minimum required for wireless ADB)
• apps.zip (tested apps, some may be outdated)

Additional Files

• 13.1.33.2404140.1.zip (Latest Australian Sealion 6 firmware)

Passwords for OTG Updates

• GHY0613byd
• BYD6125F

USB Drive Formatting Requirements

MBR only (MSDOS)

FAT32 or exFAT

Version History

• 13.1.33.23 (Downgrade version for sideloading; not recommended for driving)
• 13.1.33.24 (Upgrade to current production)

Settings File Structure Notes

Settings -> SF -> SDet -> View -> SVer

BYDUpdatePackage -> msm8953_64 -> UpdateFull

Important Notes

Before upgrading to production: Enable developer mode in settings. Don’t forget!
